Epilogue

AN: My friend Danielle and I started this
story shortly before our good friend passed away from Aids. I pray everyday
they will find a cure for this terrible disease, and we hope you have enjoyed
our story.
Twenty Years Later
Melissa's View
I am officially getting old! I am
surprised I don't have any gray hairs. Nick proposed to me 4 months after
Andrea died. We have been married for almost 20 years! Its amazing
how time flies by. There is absolutely no trace of the Aids virus in me and
Nick and our children were tested, and none have gotten it. We were
nervous about that at first, beause you never can tell if it was a hoax, but it
wasn't in my case. As for my family, Dawn got married to a guy named
Gary. They have been married for 15 years and have 3 children,
Annicka who's 12, Jeffrey who's 9 and Danielle who's 6. Josh got married
soon after Nick and I did to a lady named Kim. They have 4 children,
Hannah who is 15, Rachel who is 12, Christina who is 8, and Jonathan who is
5. As for Nick and I we have 4 kids also, Andrea who is 16 (named
after Andrea), Nickolas Jr who is 14, Alyssa who is 10, and the baby of all the
grandkids for my parents at least is Makenzie who just turned 3. I am so
happy with all I have and my family. My dad actually completely changed
after I got well, and we see him around alot visiting his grandkids. My mom
is very happy for all of us and I plan to live everyday of the rest of my life
to the fullest and work together with researchers to find the cure for cancer,
the same kind that took away my good friend so long ago.
