Chapter 1:

Time

“Just another crazy day at work.” Anna mumbled to herself. Quietly she opened her office door. The room had an erie silence till she flicked on the lights.

“Anna!” Sara called poking her head around the door frame.

“What?”

“Are you ready for that interview today?”

“Of course! Aren’t I always ready for everything?”

“Unfortunately.”

“What do you mean ‘unfortunately’?”

“With you being so perfect it makes all of us look so bad. How are we ever going to get better positions here?”

“That’s for you guys to figure out. Not me.” Anna smiled as Sara turned to leave. “Now I’m going to settle back and get started on all these papers.”

As editor of Teenbeat Magazine, her job was never finished. Although she loved the perks. Like first option to any interview she wanted to do for any groups.

“Wait! Before I start I need a cup of coffee.” Anna said to herself. She walked swiftly out to the drink bar to fix her cup.

“You have a wish.” Sara noticed the clasp to Anna’s necklace in the front.

“What?”

“A wish. Kiss the necklace clasp then turn it to the back where is should be, It also means someone is thinking about you.”

“Whatever.” Anna mumbled and left to get those papers done.

Time takes it’s toll
Even if we don’t wish it so
To be left standing open mouthed
With no clue how to g on
Is no way to part
My unforgiving heart
has hardened past reason
So don’t expect me to remember
the kisses we shared
or our sleepless nights
