Remember our agreement,\u201d Nick warns him. \u201cOnly proper English on this most traditional of holidays.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhy, of course, 00Carter. My mistake,\u201d Drums admits grudgingly. \u201cWhat I meant to say was, I think you\u2019re a bit \u2018touched\u2019 in the head, my friend.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd why would you say that?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBecause your tale only told half the story. You neglected to show the other side. What was Dr. Rough\u2019s motive for wanting to steal Christmas? And where was Dr. Rough &#8212; and I, as a matter of fact &#8212; during the whole debacle? While you were tripping up our minions with toys, we were unleashing our mayhem on the rest of the city!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Nick snorts. \u201cTrying to, anyway!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe were!\u201d Drums insists. \u201cAnd, until you showed up, we were succeeding!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cKeywords there being, \u2018Until we showed up,\u2019\u201d laughs Nick. \u201cHimTak always wins, Drums, just as good always triumphs over evil. When are you going to get that through your curly, misshapen head?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Glaring, Drums starts to rise from his seat. \u201cWhy, you little&#8211;\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cANYWAY!\u201d Nick continues loudly. \u201cYou do make a good point, Drumzy, old pal.
