Tomorrow, April 29, is Dreamer’s Sanctuary’s 19th birthday!  I’m sure I say this every year, or at least think it, but I can’t believe I’ve been at this for so long!  Then again, I also can’t believe the Backstreet Boys celebrated their 26th anniversary last weekend and are still going strong!  I feel like, at this point, as long as they keep performing and making music, I’ll probably keep writing stories about them.  It’s good to have a hobby, even if it’s a weird one, right?  Remind me of that in another 19 years, if I’m still writing Backstreet Boys fanfiction as a 53-year-old woman.  (God help me.)

Speaking of weird, Chapter 12 of A Heart That Isn’t Mine is up!  Enjoy!

Happy birthday, DS. Many others came and went, but you’re still here, still going strong. B-Rok was shot by a crazy fan on his wedding day, Howie passed the AIDS virus to his wife and child, AJ got a fan pregnant after a drunken one-night stand, Kevin died in a car crash, and Nick…where do I even start? Of course, only the best fanfic blog out there is good enough for the world’s biggest-selling boyband – are N’Stink fans that dedicated or consistent? Exactly (I love Nsync, but it’s true). Only one year left before DS hits the big 2-0, where did time go? Nick was still a teenager when you started, now he’s nearly 40. Oh, and neither of us married a Backstreet Boy, but I think we’ll let that pass, don’t you? Thanks for the stories, Julie…and keep ’em coming!

    PS – Roses are red
    Aprils are grey
    In just a few hours…
    (You know the rest!)

Sorry, I HAD to do that!

    1. LMAO!! Thank you for the delightful tribute and the laugh it gave me! I love it!

And yes, in another day, it’s gonna be May, and that meme will be everywhere tomorrow! I don’t mind; it just reminds me that we picked the best boyband, the one that’s still together and making new music instead of relying on 90s nostalgia!

      Thanks again, Jemma!
