Surprise! I’m literally in the middle of the last scene of A Heart That Isn’t Mine as I write this, so I’m probably safe to start posting more than one chapter a week without the risk of leaving you hanging. I know I left Nick in a pretty dire situation in the last chapter (more like the last ten chapters), so I decided to be nice and not make you wait until Saturday for the next chapter. After all, tomorrow is World Kindness Day – and since most of my regular readers for this one seem to be in time zones ahead of mine, it may already be World Kindness Day by the time you see this.
If I had planned ahead better, I would have posted Chapter 45 last week on National Nachos Day because I’m pretty sure this chapter contains the cheesiest scene I have written in the post-Nick & Claire era. Consider yourself warned.
