No, 2016 didn’t get me; I’m still alive. I don’t have a good excuse for not updating in four months, so I will save the apologies and just say that Chapter 47 of Sick as My Secrets is up! Let’s hope 2017 is the year I get back in my writing groove and start updating more frequently again. I have been doing pretty well with writing the last few days, but the biggest hurdle will be to keep the momentum going after I go back to work. Maybe my resolution should be to write every weekend. If you guys promise to keep reading, I promise to try! Thanks for sticking with me for another year. I wish everyone a wonderful 2017!

Sorry for the lack of updates this month; I’ve been busy getting ready to go back to school. Today was the official first day with students, so I’m back to the grind. I should be able to keep updating better than I have in recent years, though; I have quite a few more chapters finished and will have more time to keep writing. I just need to stay inspired! Thanks for your encouragement!

As you can probably tell, I’ve been on a writing streak and am actually about ten chapters ahead of what’s posted at this point. I’ve only been posting a chapter when I finish a chapter so that even once school starts and my writing slows down, I’ll still have some chapters banked so I can keep up the regular updates for awhile. You guys need to stay on top of me about that, though, because when I’m not writing, I tend to forget to update, as the last couple years have shown. This coming school year should be better because I won’t be quite as busy. Anyway, if you haven’t given SAMS a try yet or have fallen behind, now’s the perfect time to catch up! I appreciate any comments letting me know who’s reading and what you think. Thanks!
