Merry Christmas!

I bet you’re surprised to see this update!  After all, it’s been awhile!  I haven’t updated since August, and I sincerely apologize for that.  Between work, class, and life, the last four months have been incredibly busy for me, and up until this past weekend, I literally had not written a word of fanfic since school started.  Very sad!

But I’m happy to say that I did get a little bit written on Sick as My Secrets over the weekend, and I also started a new short story, which is what I’m posting today as my little Christmas gift to you.  I will have an update on SAMS soon, but it’s a little depressing for the holidays, don’t you think?  The new short story is a lot more fun!

Remember The Gift of the Pandaskunk, the weird little story I wrote for Christmas a couple of years ago?  It was my interpretation of the Backstreet Boys’ bizarre video for “It’s Christmas Time Again,” featuring the mystical flying pandaskunk.

Well, I decided the time has come for a sequel!  Check out my new story, Return of the Pandaskunk!

I am sorry to say that the story isn’t finished yet.  I just got the idea and started it Sunday night, and between some last minute Christmas shopping and wrapping and baking and seeing friends and family, I wasn’t able to actually finish it for Christmas.  But I’m far enough that I wanted to share some of it with you.  I will finish and post the rest later this week or next, along with some SAMS, I promise!  Thanks for your patience, and thanks for sticking with me!

Merry Christmas!

SAMS Update!

Chapter 21 of Sick as My Secrets is up!

I’m in back-to-school mode and officially start next week, so you may see updates slow down a little… but hopefully not too much because I do still have a few chapters banked on this one.  Rose and I are also working on the last few chapters of Song for the Undead, which we plan to post daily once we’re done, so stay tuned for those.

Speaking of Rose, tomorrow is the last day to vote at her Double Rainbow Awards.  If you haven’t cast your votes yet, please head on over and vote for your favorites now!  Sick as My Secrets is nominated, as are Secrets of the Heart and Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Backstreet Boy.

Thanks for all the support with SAMS lately; I really appreciate reading your comments! 🙂

Double the Nick, Double the Fun!

I try not to be one of those writers who begs for feedback, but I do respond to begging!  Thank you so much to those of you who have signed up for the site and started commenting on my updates.  I really appreciate that!  Just knowing people are reading and wanting more motivates me to update more often, so it’s a win-win for everyone! 🙂

Chapter 20 of Sick as My Secrets is up, as well as Chapter 110 of Song for the Undead!  Both are Nick chapters.  One is angsty, and the other’s actually quite fluffy – I’ll leave it up to you to figure out which is which.

Enjoy!

“I’m so sorry…”

“…that I called you.  Trying to pick up the pieces of my life…”

Hopefully you know what this means:  Chapter 19 of Sick as My Secrets is up!

If you’re enjoying this story, please consider voting for it in the Double Rainbow Awards!

Speaking of Rose, she is hard at work on the next Song for the Undead chapter.  We are almost done with that story, so I hope I can keep alternating updates between it and SAMS until the end!
