00Carter Update
In case you missed it last week, 00Carter is back and better than ever! We’re reposting and revisiting an old episode each week as we count down to the debut of our first new episode in nearly a decade, “Mr. Body Beautiful.” Head on over to the 00Carter site to read this week’s retrospective blog and Episode 2, “Idolize Me.” We’ve also started posting the story on Archive of Our Own. MBK Update
Chapter 26 of My Brother’s Keeper is up! A word of advice: Don’t read it while you’re eating. LOL
I have almost caught up to myself on this story; I only have one more chapter finished right now, which will be posted in two weeks. Hopefully I’m able to get another chapter written by then, but at the rate I’m going, I can’t promise that. My writing has really slowed down on this story since I went back to work. I’ve been busy and have spent more of my free time working on 00Carter than this one. That being said, I really like this story and have no doubt in my mind that I will finish it, so don’t even worry about me abandoning it. But if my updates on it become more sporadic after this month, that’s why. In the meantime, you’ll have new 00Carter to read soon! Thanks for your support, as always! 00Carter is BACK! (Alright!)
What’s this?! A random Monday night update? Well, it’s actually the first in a series of weekly, not-so-random Monday night updates I have planned. That’s because, as I mentioned recently, our collaboration 00Carter is back and better than ever! The pandemic brought our friend and original cowriter Dee back to the BSB fandom last year, and earlier this year, she, Rose, and I decided to revive 00Carter, which had been unofficially on hiatus for almost a decade. We started working on it again over the summer and have already finished two new episodes! We’ve also done some editing on the old episodes — not changing any plot details, just polishing up the grammar and word choice.
In honor of the upcoming fifteenth anniversary of when 00Carter was conceived (January 2, 2007), we decided to repost one old episode each week leading up to the anniversary, when we will debut the new Episode 11: Mr. Body Beautiful. Click here to read our blog for Episode 1: Carter… Nick Carter. If you’ve already read the story, I hope you’ll enjoy revisiting it and refreshing your memory before we start posting new episodes. And if you’ve never read it before, now is the perfect time to give it a try! This is one of the most creative stories I’ve ever been a part of, and it’s been a blast reminiscing and writing it again!
