Dreamer's Sanctuary

Part 5 of  00Carter Episode 14: “In the Wink of an Eye” has been posted.  We’ll be back next week with the last part of this episode!

I’m a day late, but yesterday was the anniversary of Dreamer’s Sanctuary’s creation!  Twenty-two years!  I pride myself on having one of the longest-running BSB fanfic websites that is still being updated, and I appreciate everyone who visits it, whether you’ve been around since 2000 or just discovered it recently.  Thanks for coming here and reading my stories!  Your feedback helps keep writing fanfic fun for me.

My Brother’s Keeper has been updated with Chapter 41, and it’s also Kevin’s anniversary in the story!  April tends to be a busy month for me, so my writing has slowed down lately, but I’ve managed to maintain the daily writing streak I’ve had going since February.  Tomorrow will be Day 100!  I made it up to 148 days on my streak last year, but I would like to think this story will be finished before I get that far.  At the rate I’ve been writing the last few weeks, though, maybe not!

Not sure if anyone’s actually reading 00Carter these days, but for anyone who is, Part 3 of Episode 14: “In the Wink of an Eye” is up!

And so am I!  One week ago, I went to a BSB concert for the first time in almost three years, and it was absolutely wonderful!  I can’t wait for the summer tour, and I’m excited for my European friends that you also have tour dates to look forward to!

For anyone reading 00Carter, I apologize for the lack of updates this week.  The episode we’re currently posting is finished but not fully edited, and since the three of us were having fun in Vegas last weekend, we didn’t get a chance to finish our edits on time.  We should be able to get back to our regular posting schedule this week.

In the meantime, Chapter 40 of My Brother’s Keeper is up!  This is a fairly light-hearted chapter after all the drama lately.  The story is starting to wind down – I just have ten more chapters planned and think I’ll be able to stick with that plan.  I’m currently writing Chapter 42, so I’m starting to catch up to myself again, but hopefully my end-of-story streak will start soon.  I’m on Day 85 of a daily writing streak and had a decent writing session today.  I’ve also ironed out some important details for the sequel I’m planning, which is looking like a go.  I can’t start a story without a title and names for my original characters, and I’ve now decided on those, which means as soon as I’m done with MBK, I can begin writing the sequel!  There is still the chance that I’ll get a random novel idea between now and then, which I would welcome, but since I don’t currently have another idea that’s begging to be written, this sequel will probably be my next story.  Thank you to everyone who said they would be interested in reading it for the encouragement!
