It’s been a busy, exhausting couple weeks of work, and my writing has slowed down a lot… but I’m almost done with A Heart That Isn’t Mine! I’m literally on the last chapter and have one scene left to write. I’m hoping to finish it this weekend, but I’ve done a whole lot of nothing so far. We’ll see.

Speaking of horror, I wanted to update on Halloween, but I decided to spend the couple of hours I had between Halloween festivities and bed writing instead. My “end of story” writing streak has been going for over two months now, but I’m almost done with it for real now – one more chapter left to write! Chapter 43 of A Heart That Isn’t Mine is up, and until Thursday, this was actually two separate chapters… but then 49 got too long, and I decided to split it into two and combine the old 43 and 44 instead. Chapter 40 of A Heart That Isn’t Mine is up! I must admit, I had so much fun writing this chapter. It was a challenge to research for and write, but I’m really happy with how it turned out.
