Hear my heart that’s barely beating…

It’s been a busy, exhausting couple weeks of work, and my writing has slowed down a lot… but I’m almost done with A Heart That Isn’t Mine!  I’m literally on the last chapter and have one scene left to write.  I’m hoping to finish it this weekend, but I’ve done a whole lot of nothing so far.  We’ll see.

In the meantime, Chapter 44 is up.  Enjoy!

Two chapters for the price of one

Happy November!  I’m really glad to know Nick is safe and having fun in Hawaii right now instead of being subjected to the horrors that happened during this month in a certain alternate universe…

Speaking of horror, I wanted to update on Halloween, but I decided to spend the couple of hours I had between Halloween festivities and bed writing instead.  My “end of story” writing streak has been going for over two months now, but I’m almost done with it for real now – one more chapter left to write!  Chapter 43 of A Heart That Isn’t Mine is up, and until Thursday, this was actually two separate chapters… but then 49 got too long, and I decided to split it into two and combine the old 43 and 44 instead.  So even though I only updated once this week, you’re still getting two chapters worth of material.  Read one, get one free!  Hope you enjoy!

It’s the final countdown…

Surprise!  I know I left you off on a pretty cruel cliffhanger at the end of my last update, so I’m posting the next chapter early.  Chapter 41 of A Heart That Isn’t Mine is up, beginning the fifth and final part of the story – for real this time!

I’ll be back with 42 on Saturday!

I wait for my heart to mend, but you keep tearing a hole…

Chapter 40 of A Heart That Isn’t Mine is up!  I must admit, I had so much fun writing this chapter.   It was a challenge to research for and write, but I’m really happy with how it turned out.  It’s one of my favorites.  You’ll be glad it’s not the last chapter when you read it, though.  Don’t worry, there are ten more coming to finish the story, and I promise not to leave you hanging at the end.  Thanks for reading and reviewing!
