Baby, don’t go…

I saw the Backstreet Boys one week ago in Chicago, and it was amazing!  What a spectacular show and set list!  I can’t wait to see them again in St. Louis in a few weeks.

In the meantime, it’s back to school/work for me.  This is the hardest time of year for me to keep up with my writing because it’s so busy and there are so many other things to think about.  I haven’t written anything substantial in over a week, but I’m trying to get back to it this weekend.  I’m nearing the climax of the story, so hopefully that excitement will help keep me inspired.

Chapter 28 of A Heart That Isn’t Mine has been posted.  I’ll be back next week with 29!

Farewell summer

I’ve spent my last full week of summer vacation working to get my classroom ready before school starts, which means my writing has slowed down, as it does every August… but as promised, I’m back with an early update!  Chapter 27 of A Heart That Isn’t Mine is up, and it’s my favorite one so far!  I hope you enjoy it!

I have a few more chapters already written, so even as I go back to school and get busy again, I should be able to keep updating once a week until the story is done.  Thank you to those who have been commenting on the story for helping me get back into my writing/updating groove!

And I call it new love, new love, new love…

A week from tonight, I’ll be seeing this live at the DNA concert in Chicago with three of my best friends!  I can’t wait!  That means I won’t be updating next Saturday, but I will try to post a chapter early instead of late (I’m thinking probably Thursday night, as my ZDR Rose is flying in on Friday).

As for tonight, Chapter 26 of A Heart That Isn’t Mine is up!  I’m interested to read your reactions as our little roller coaster of a story continues, so thanks in advance for those who take the time to leave feedback.  I hope you enjoy it!

I’ve been broken, I’ve been bruised

Chapter 25 of A Heart That Isn’t Mine has been posted, and as promised, you’re in for a pretty intense ride from here on out.  I’m aiming to end this story on an even forty chapters, so we’re definitely on the downward slide now, but the drama’s only going to escalate.  Enjoy!

Fifty years ago…

…Neil Armstrong became the first man to walk on the moon, and Brian’s lovely wife was born.  Happy birthday, Leighanne!  What a historic day to come into the world!

Chapter 24 of A Heart That Isn’t Mine is up!  When I first started posting this story, I promised you were in for a roller coaster ride.  Consider this chapter that point when you’re almost to the top of one of the tall hills, but not quite there yet.  It’s the calm before the (next) storm.  Things are about to get (even more) intense, and it’s gonna be a wild ride the rest of the story.  I finished Part III and got to a pivotal point this week, and I can’t wait for you to read what’s to come!
